Can this 40 year old 105kg lardman (weight on 1st Feb 2006) complete the Taupo Ironman 2007 on March 3rd 2007 having never run a real Duathlon, Triathlon or any multi sport event before...
The Challenge is to beat Gordon Haller's winning time of 11 hours, 46 minutes and 58 seconds, recorded in Hawaii in 1978 - the first ever ironman event...
Is it possible in 57 weeks to get this "lardman" into shape? Only time will tell...
